The plants are result of technology driven approach to serve the global emerging needs. The 3 facilities are dedicated to different dosage forms across the therapeutic segments. The infrastructure is equipped with sophisticated equipments and machines to meet the requirement of today and tomorrow.
Plant 1
- This facility is designed for manufacture of oral solids, and topical formulations.
- This integrated facility is located in Chennai, India. This plant conforms to WHO -GMP and GLP norms.
An overview of Topicals’ Manufacturing Facility
Topical plant has a built in area of 77500 square feet conforming to the global regulatory requirements with an Annual production capacity of 52.5 million Tubes.
- Dedicated manufacturing suites /product lines for steroid and non steroidal products manufacturing
- Provision for a total of 4 manufacturing suites two each for steroid and non steroid products
- In phase I, two Manufacturing suites commissioned, one dedicated suite each for Steroid and Non steroid products
- 500 kg Topical Manufacturing Plant (Adam Fabriwek)
- Provision of SCADA system
- Provision of dedicated CIP system for each manufacturing suite
- High Pressure Homogenizer
- 5 filling lines, 2 for steroids and 3 for Non steroid products
- In phase I, one tube Filling machine (Wimco-120 tube/min) along with cartoner and auto car toner (ACG) machines commissioned each for steroid & non steroid products
- Dedicated Purified Water system with distribution loop

Plant 2:
An UK MHRA accredited facility dedicated to the oral solid dosage forms (Tablets and Capsules) with built in area of 40,000 sq.ft.
Manufacturing capacity:
- Tablets – 300 million / annum (On a single shift operation) Capsules (Hard Gelatin) – 160 million / annum (On a single shift operation)
- Rapid Mixer Granulator, Fluid Bed Processor & Fluid Bed Drier
- Auto coater (Sugar / Film & enteric coating) – 48” perforated pan
- Automatic blister packaging and cartonators unit with advanced rejection mechanisms
- CVC Bulk packing machine (60 bottles per minute)
The plant also conforms to US FDA; TGA which the company believes will be in line with its focus on exports in future and establishing its capabilities to supply products to the global market.
Plant 3:
This facility is located south of Chennai, India, dedicated to oral liquid formulations, with a built in area of 17,500 sq.meters containing four separate manufacturing, filling and packaging areas.
Production Capacity:
- The manufacturing and packing operations are carried out in single shift. Two lines with single shift operation can deliver the following outputs.
- 200 ml : 22.0 million bottles / annum (Line – I)
- 100 ml / 60ml : 31.0 million bottles / annum (Line – II)
- 15 ml : 24.0 million bottles / annum (Line – II)
- 100 ml / 60ml : 17.0 million bottles / annum (Line – III)
- State-of-Art manufacturing facility with relevant automations
- Dedicated Quality Control unit with separate space for Chemical Analysis, Instrumentation, Microbiological Analysis and Stability testing
- Complete in-house utility systems, including DG Sets, Boiler, Compressed Air, Purified Water Systems and Dedicated HVAC System
